Inge Harms

Inge did her bachelor’s degree in social work through UCT. Very soon into her training, she realized that it was everything she had envisioned. She has worked therapeutically with women and children exposed to, or victims of, intimate partner violence in a shelter environment. She has co-developed and facilitated a support group for teenagers exposed to school bullying and worked with the most vulnerable youth in Ocean view.

In addition, she has experience in the High Court environment with regards to Children’s Court Finalization. She has worked extensively with substance dependence disorders, dual-diagnosis, elderly care, and most recently worked as a as school counsellor at the German International School of Cape Town during the incredibly challenging year with COVID-19.

Inge has passion for supporting others and taking on the role of walking a mile in her clients’ shoes. All her work is underlined not only by her unique and wide-ranging knowledge but is also fortified by her deep love for the others and the passion for growth and understanding.
