Deborah Rutenberg

Deborah Rutenberg has acquired her bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Psychology at University of Cape Town. Amongst other things she has also attained a Bachelor of Social Science degree with Honours from the University of Waikato.

In New Zealand she has worked as an in-house child psychologist at a residential facility that cared for children from 5 to 12 years of age.  Deborah has worked extensively with youth at risk. She has had employment in the mental health sector and has succeeded in family counselling.  She has over 25 years of experience collectively.

Deborah offers a range of services including individual counselling, family counselling and group therapy. Deborah is well skilled in facilitating groups and has written family violence programmes and youth programmes.

Deborah has a passion for creating lasting hope for the individual and desires to encourage authentic change for people. We are privileged to have her on our team as she takes great pleasure in serving our community.
